Artists Robert Minervini, of Oakland, and other artists are working on a “Castro Valley” mural on the Interstate 580 underpass on Redwood Road in Castro Valley. The mural is one of three commissioned by the Alameda County Arts Commission. The other two murals will bear the names of the unincorporated communities of Ashland and Cherryland.
